Bilovit Fine Pink Himalayan Salt is a product from the Bilovit own brand – carefully selected table salt with a distinctive pink colour. Its fine grain makes it easy to use for everyday seasoning and ensures it dissolves evenly.

Himalayan salt is extracted from natural deposits – its pink colour comes from microminerals of iron and other elements present in the salt. It has a more intense, slightly herbal flavour than classic white salt. Non-iodised – it is a good alternative for those who prefer salt in its natural form.

Intended use

Table salt for seasoning main courses, soups, sauces, meats, marinades and home-made preserves. It also works well as a base for kitchen scrubs and salt baths. Vegan.

Directions

Use as you would ordinary salt – add to taste, taking into account the recommended daily salt intake (max 5 g for adults according to the WHO). For a kitchen scrub: mix 2 tablespoons of salt with 1 tablespoon of olive oil or honey. For a salt bath: 200–500 g per bath of warm water.

Precautions

The salt contains 98.7 g of sodium per 100 g of product – use in moderation, especially if following a low-salt diet (high blood pressure, kidney disease, heart problems). Recommended daily salt intake according to the WHO: max 5 g.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in a dry place. Protect from moisture.
