The softening lotion, applied for 10–15 minutes on a cotton pad, prepares the skin for mechanical cleansing — softening blocked pores and making it easier to remove blackheads without excessive pressure. The formula is based on three active ingredients: witch hazel water (Hamamelis Virginiana) regulates sebum, has antibacterial and astringent properties; gluconolactone (PHA) gently exfoliates dead skin cells without the irritation typically associated with AHAs; terpinen-4-ol (4-Terpineol) — an active ingredient in tea tree oil — improves the condition of problem skin and reduces bacterial growth.
