Olvita Cold-pressed Avocado Oil is 100% oil extracted from the flesh of ripe avocados (Persea americana) – cold-pressed and unrefined at the Olvita oil mill in Poland (Marcinowice, Lower Silesia).

A lush green colour, the characteristic buttery, nutty aroma of avocado and a delicate, mild flavour. The nutritional table is dominated by monounsaturated fatty acids (67 g/100 g) – mainly oleic acid (omega-9), typical of avocados.

Usage

Oil for dishes served cold or after gentle heating: bread, salads, dips, sandwich spreads, raw vegetable salads. The buttery, nutty flavour pairs well with tomato, mozzarella, smoked salmon and eggs. Cold-pressed oil – best enjoyed cold. Add to hot dishes after serving. Vegan.

Directions for use

Recommended serving size: 3 teaspoons (12 g) per day for direct consumption or as an addition to dishes. Pour over salads, hummus, quark or bruschetta just before serving. 100 ml bottle = approximately 10 servings of 12 g each.

Storage

Store in a cool, dark place at 0–25°C. Close the bottle tightly after opening. The oil may become cloudy or solidify at low temperatures – this is a natural phenomenon and is fully reversible.
