SIZE
Wellbear Black Cumin Oil is a 100% cold-pressed oil from black cumin seeds (Nigella sativa), unrefined and unfiltered, produced in a Polish oil mill. Its golden-brown color and sharp, peppery flavor with a pronounced bitterness set it apart from a mild cooking oil - 84 g of unsaturated fatty acids per 100 g. Meant for cold dishes only; easiest to enjoy mixed with something sweet.
About the product
Wellbear Black Cumin Oil is 100% oil from black cumin seeds (Nigella sativa), cold-pressed in a Polish oil mill. Black cumin, also known as black seed, has flavored Middle Eastern and North African cooking for centuries - the oil is pressed from its tiny black seeds.
The oil is unrefined and unfiltered, which explains its golden-brown color and bold flavor: sharp, peppery, with a strong bitterness. This is not a mild oil and doesn't pretend to be one - it's easiest to get used to alongside something sweet, such as honey, natural yogurt or fruit juice. A fine sediment from seed particles can settle at the bottom of the bottle; just shake before use.
- Single ingredient - 100% oil from black cumin seeds
- Cold-pressed in a Polish oil mill, without heat treatment
- Unrefined and unfiltered - hence the color, bitterness and natural sediment
- High in unsaturated fatty acids - 84 g per 100 g
- No preservatives or additives, vegan

Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. Monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats are unsaturated fats. In this oil, they make up 84 g per 100 g of product.
Purpose
An oil for cold dishes only: salads and slaws, dressings with lemon, orange and honey, chilled soups, vegetable spreads and dips. The bitterness of black cumin balances sweetness well, so the oil also works stirred into yogurt with fruit or a smoothie. Add to cooked dishes only after they have cooled down. Not suitable for frying, baking or cooking - high heat degrades the polyunsaturated fats and spoils the flavor. Vegan.
How to use
Adults: 1 tablespoon (12 g) a day, ideally with a meal. Children from 3 years: up to 1 teaspoon a day. Children aged 1 to 3: 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon a day - for this age group, agree the amount with a doctor. Because of the pronounced bitterness, start with a smaller amount and mix the oil with yogurt, a smoothie, fruit juice or honey. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use. The oil is also sometimes used externally, for skin and hair care.
Storage
Before opening, store in a cool, dark place. Once opened, keep refrigerated (4-10°C) and use within 2-3 months - unrefined oil oxidizes under light, heat and air. Keep the bottle tightly closed, in its original dark glass. The best-before date on the label also serves as the batch number.
Ingredients
Black cumin seed oil 100%, cold-pressed.
Allergen advice
May contain traces of gluten, nuts (including peanuts), mustard and sesame - the product is made on a shared production line at the oil mill. Do not use if allergic to black cumin.
