About the product

Sadvit is a family-run juicery from Magierowa Wola near Warka, Poland, making juices only from fruit and vegetables, without water, sugar or flavour enhancers.

Common nettle grows across Poland and has long found its way into kitchens, cosmetics and hair care. The juice has a tart, distinctly plant-forward taste - it is not a fruit drink and does not try to be one.

It is cold-pressed using the NFC method and only pasteurised afterwards. Besides the juice, the only other ingredient is citric acid as an acidity regulator - nothing else.

It is one of the lightest juices in the range: 12 kcal and 0.5 g sugars per 100 ml. The juice may separate, which is natural for a plant-based product.

The tap bag inside the carton holds 1.5 litres, or six 250 ml servings. The tap keeps air out, so the juice stays fresh for 21 days after opening instead of just two.

For those looking for a vegetable-based juice rather than a fruity one, who do not mind a tart, grassy taste. It is most often added to tea and syrups, or diluted with water.

How to use

1. Shake the pack before pouring - the juice may separate.
2. Pour directly from the tap without opening the bag.
3. Dilute with water or add to tea - on its own it is distinctly tart.
4. Use as an ingredient in a homemade syrup or a green smoothie.

Storage

Store in a dry, shaded place at a temperature of 2 to 20°C. Once opened, the juice stays fresh for 21 days, provided the tap stays submerged in juice and no air enters the bag. If air does get in, use the juice within 24 hours. The juice may separate - this is natural.
